Last time I saw Gattis, she was dragging a staff member around from KABATA. They had vowed that the bridge will be built even if someone or something else got the money to build it.
Sad. Pathetic and well, at the end of the day, quite laughable.

I admit I don't know much about some of the legislators. I commented before this is an intimate rubbing elbows knowledge on display, but my first impulse was to defend Les Gara. His ideology tends to be in agreement with mine, so I'm happy to have someone with this ethic working in Juneau, focusing on fair treatment for the disadvantaged and public safety. As a member of the minority, little can be done without compromise. Les has accomplished the passing of his authored bills, and helped to improve others, so he must be working well with the majority. In his news letter, he's been forthright to give thanks and praise to Republican cohorts and friends.

Now that the party paid for by big oil is starting to come to an end, in 2014 may we have the wisdom to start to return to a place where people are proud to live in a last frontier where life is a challange. I hope we again learn how to use limited state financial resources to address problems by co-operating with each other to provide the greatest good possible for all Alaskans.

KABATA spells boondoggle. Why are Alaskan public officials so eager to spend dollar after dollar on plans and studies for projects that will never be built. KABATA is an oit of control agency that irresponsibly spends state dollars needlessly. I hope our elected officials have the courage and integrity to stop this project. We simply cannot afford it.
