This is entirely adequate evidence that the Alaska US Senate race is a contest between President Obama and Senator Reid on one side and Alaska voters on the other side. Senator Begich himself becomes less and less a part of the equation as the weeks go by.

Just last night I heard my wife tell a pollster, in answer to a question I could not hear, “I am voting for anybody but Begich.” I really think Alaskans will decide in November whether they want more of the Reid Senate and more Obama appointees to federal courts. Alaskans can change the Beltway arithmetic, and that is why all this money is coming to the Begich campaign.
