I’d put my money on Nat Herz over the NYT to cover local politics any day. I read that same story this weekend and thought it was insulting, too. Chin up, Nat, you’re a great reporter, and we ALASKANS know that. I’d say the same for you, too, Amanda, irrespective of your status as a stringer for them.
