They are wasting money. I pick up the mail, drive home, and stand in the garage sorting the political flyers into the burn barrel. The materials never make it into the house.

I’m having my class make origami cranes out of the political garbage I and my neighbors receive. Most of this political garbage is made of glossy paper, so a soft grain sandpaper is rubbed across the surface just prior to folding. That way the origami crane can be spray painted, in the colors of your choosing.
There is a rather sick sense of relief to spray paint over a politician’s face. Even if it’s folded into a crane.
